This part of Scotland  has year-round activities to suit all ages (and energy levels) Its great for walkers, hikers and there are Munroes nearby for all you Munro Baggers. Cycling, salmon fishing, deer stalking, grouse & pheasant shooting all in the local area. Golf is of course a great Scottish sport and there are championship courses within easy drive of the cottages.  Plenty of castles and palaces in the area (not to mention Balmoral) and also plenty of distilleries!   Dundee and Perth are the nearest cities but its an easy drive to Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.  Skiing at Glenshee is the main hobby for the winter months and as our cottages are available year-round why not give it a try?
